I fear that cats are more intelligent than we think.

Got home from school to find that the cat had not only hunted out a bag of catnip my parents had been storing in a cupboard (a cupboard near the ceiling and probably quite difficult to open with paws, I might say) but that he was on the couch watching TV.  The TV was not on when everyone left in the morning.

Be afraid.
